Diablo - a new favourite

As you might have noticed, there are a fifth week this month. That means some extra fun at Let's Get Sketchy! This time you should get inspired by a picture. I loved the colors and made my layout colorful.

I added some acrylic paint in different colors on the background. Here are two close-ups:

The Royal palace

I did one more extra DT-layout for Let's Get Sketchy this month. This is my interpretation of our week 3 sketch:

The photos are taken at the royal palace in Sweden and I thought it fitted perfectly with a layout in gold.

Posing

This is a layout that I made just for fun.

I have tried to get DD to look into the camera for almost eight years... without any sucsess. And now she's suddenly posing. I'm a happy scrapbooking-mother! :-)

I used Prima Rub-on Foil in different colors mixed with patterned papers to create the pattern in the sketch.

One more time!

I made an extra DT-layout for Let's Get Sketchy this month. This is my take on our first August sketch:

The title says "One more time" and the photos are from a tivoli. I just love DD's expression!

DT layouts for July...

I don't know how I could miss it, but I forgot to show you my DT-layouts for Let's get sketchy in July.

Here is my layout for week 2:

I used some green Prima Rub-on Foil and I love the effect. I also used water color and stamps on my background.

Here are some close-ups:

Here is my DT-layout for week 4:

On this one I used Primas holographic foil. That is even more amazing. Love it!

Dance show

August challenge is up at ARTtastic. This month the inspiration piece is a wood cut by Thea Proctor. The criteria is the use of black pen on your work. How inspiring is that? I love it!

I used a black pen to draw an "explosion symbol" to highlight the photo.

I used some neon orange acrylic paint on the background to match the hoodies in the photo. Here are two close-ups:

I hope you want to join the challenge!
